i buyed this engine how it is so i dont know all specs
but this is what i do know:
40mm carbs
upgraded pistons
race cams
adjustible cam gears
flowed heads
compression ratio is changed
displacement dissipate (it was a 1.7 and now its a 1.6 engine)
valves now function mechanical and not hydraulic
lightened flywheel:

the previous owner told me 168hp/192nm was with the original 16v
exhaust manifold and "hot air intake"
so some hp is lost there i guess.!
on 29 april my car is going on a dyno to test hp and fine tune carbs and ignition so i have to wait to see how much hp it realy has got :D
yesterday i had my first real test drive (had lots of fun!! :cool: )
engine worked great but it felt like it was holding back sometimes.
at 7000 rpm the engine lost all its power while 8000 rpm shoeld be no
problem (ignition timing? cam belt timing?carbs?)
