I think the limit of the engine sleeves (the 8V TS unlike the 16V is a wet sleeve engine) was around 300hp. If you are not pushing for higher numbers it will do the job. Other than that it is a very good engine. There are few people in the forum with first hand expirience with 8V turbo convertion. Maybe they can give you more detailed info.
In our country, there are examples where a 8v tvinspark shot up to 400 horsepower (gauge 1,7bar turbine in 2871).
